The New York City Police Museum has adopted the following privacy policy for the benefit of our patrons. Please note that the New York City Police Museum is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of Web sites to which it may link, or may be linked.

Your Information
When you make a donation online, you are asked to provide the following information: your first and last name, e-mail address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and credit card payment information. This information is required to complete the billing process. The New York City Police Museum may contact you regarding purchase information or to inform you of major changes in its services or policies. In addition, if you indicate on the billing form that you are interested in receiving further information from the New York City Police Museum, we may occasionally send you direct mail via electronic mail and/or postal mail about New York City Police Museum sales and special events, information about Police Museum programs and other services that we feel may be of interest to you.

No Release of Information to Third Parties
Personal information gathered on the New York City Police Museum site will not be released to third parties (please note that this does not apply to information that you provide directly to Paypal!). Upon request, the New York City Police Museum will (1) remove your personal information from our database; (2) correct personal information that is erroneous; (3) permit you to unsubscribe from further electronic mail or postal mail contact.
